Plasterkey is a universal waterbased bonding aid.

Plasterkey has been designed specifically for use in the building industry to bond sand/cement plaster and gypsum plaster to smooth surfaces.

• Bonds to sound PVA surfaces.
• Easy to use.

Surfaces should be free of loose particles, scaling of flaking material. Wire brush & rinse the surface if necessary.

Soffits and vertical surfaces - coat the prepared surfaces with Plasterkey after dust etc. has been removed and apply a scratch coat whilst the Plasterkey is still wet. Allow the scratch coat to dry and then plaster in the usual manner.

Where gypsum based plaster is used, apply the Plasterkey to the prepared surface and plaster straight onto the wet Plasterkey finishing off in a single operation. Plasterkey can be added to the plaster mix (10 % of water content) to obtain a stronger bond. Plasterkey can be applied by brush or roller. Coverage is ± 10 square metres per litre.
