The casting is uniform and inclusion free and the machining is also good. A quality product at this price.
Possible improvements to make this an excellent product would be a captive O-ring under the filter cap for many cleaning operations over the long term and a choice of larger or smaller mesh. The standard mesh allows particles to jam the downstream pressure reg valve.
